SOCAG Hosts Community Pet & Family Resource Event in Altus
ALTUS, OK — August 27, 2025 — The Southwest Oklahoma Community Action Group (SOCAG) is proud to host its Biggest Event of the Year on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Community Center–Westside (401 Falcon Rd, Altus).
This event is about so much more than just pet care—it’s about bringing our community together. Families and pet owners are invited to take part in a day filled with free resources, essential services, and support for both people and pets.
Free Pet Care Services
Cat & Dog Vaccines: Free rabies, FVRCP, and DHPP vaccines
Pet ID Tags: Register your pet for free identification tags
Nail Trims by Top Knot Grooming: Donations accepted, with proceeds going to the Altus Animal Shelter
Free Pet-Friendly Rides: Courtesy of Southwest Transit (call 580-482-5042)
